You are looking at a vintage 1950s 2 ½ quart Aluminum sauce pan with wood handle and matching lid made by Household Institute Cooking Utensils (Reg U.S. Pat. Off.). The knob on the lid is also wood. This pan and lid have been cleaned and then polished with steel wool, very nice, sits flat. There are no cracks in the aluminum ~ but the wood handle has a 1” long crack and a ½” long crack nearest the pan, the handle does not wobble, but does turn around about ½” both ways. The pan is 8” wide (plus 7” long handle ~ including metal hanging loop) x 4 3/8” tall (without lid), with a 6 ¼” wide base. This pan & lid weigh 4 pounds, 4 ounces before packaging for shipping.
