Up for sale is an original United States A-2 cold weather jacket, dating from 1971. Has the original owners name written on the inner part of the jacket.Made by Mason & Hughes and is a size 42-44.Jacket is in nice shape for its age. Some soil spots on the front lower part of the jacket, small one on the back of the jacket and paint residue on the backside of the sleeve. I have not tried to clean or treat. Inner liner is in very nice shape. Jacket has no holes, no rips, no tears, no repairs and the color is nice. Missing the cuffs, but can be worn without or easily replaced. Still has the original tag. The Scovill zipper works perfectly and has the original pull. All thebuttons are in great shape. Overall condition is nice for its age. Measures approx. 24 1/2\" across the chest from underarm tounderarm. 22 1/2\" from underarm to end of the sleeve, 19 3/4\" from shoulder to shoulder and 16 1/4\" from underarm to end of the waist. Very nice original USN Vietnam War era jacket and is a must for any collector. From a recent estate of a career Navy pilot and was safely stored away for years.
