Vintage/Antique Dark Brown Mink 2-Pelt Tippet/ Collar/ Wrap/ Scarf/ Stole

Here is a vintage real mink fur tippet that makes a great addition to your mid-century collection! I think it is from the 1940s or 1950s from what I can tell from researching. This is made out of 2 dark brown (like very dark walnut brown) mink pelts with heads, tails and back feet (no claws, the feet are soft and only fur). They are attached head to tail. The faces have light off-white fur markings down their noses (more of a stripe on the back mink\'s face). It fastens with a crocheted ball snap on a celluloid chain--see close up! I don\'t know a lot about furs but this one seems to be nice, and it is a nice wearable piece.

Great vintage condition. The fur seems soft and shiny to me. It does not have big glass eyes like some pelts--both heads have eyes that are hard and a duller solid black (they look more like a real mink eye than some of the big glass ones do). The fastener works.
