Vintage forties gown. Appears to be medium weight rayon. As seen and described. There is one light spot at right hip and one very light spot on right mid bodice. No dark marks and no holes or rips. Better quality dress. Color is a dusty pink/rose/mauve (hard to capture accurately). Label reads \"DuBarry\". The side zipper is one of those fabulous fabric covered beauties that were placed in better garments of the era. Dress is embellished with prong set rhinestones - a bar at the bust and other solitaire stones scattered over the garment, front and back. The stones are glass and they really play with the light, so this garment would be a dream on stage! Dress has a fairly full skirt with a walking vent in front center. Matching belt. Padded shoulders with cap flutter sleeves. Deep V neckline with ruching at center bust.
