A phenomenal demi parure by Fred A Block consisting of an asymmetrical choker necklace and dangling earrings set in silver tone metal.The set is made of pale blue glass moonstones that have a fabulous pink glow when the light hits them. Sappharine glass, made in the mid century by mixing gold with the glass has the same quality. This may in fact be sappharine. The row of moonstone pairs beautifully with the sparkle of blue rhinestones. Each of the three dangles on the necklace and earrings are finished with gorgeous semi translucent navettes that are faceted in an almost harlequin design. The navettes are pale whitish blue but sparkle in a golden pink.The necklace is signed, the earrings are not.There are two minor issues. The first is a knot in the silver safety chain. The chain and clasp work just fine and someone with better dexterity than I will certainly be able to untangle the knot! The second flaw is nearly impossible to spot, there is a hairline crack in one of the moonstones on one earring. You have to look very closely to spot this.The set presents magnificently.Necklace is 15\"
