Vintage ART DECO Egyptian Revival sterling necklace with a lovely sodalite gem quality polished scarab at the center. The scarab is flanked by Anubis the Dog Faced, an Egyptian god. On each side of the center piece is a hamsa hand, each filled with different Egyptian Gods and religious artifacts cut out and detailed by hand. There are so many different Egyptian figures it is quite amazing!

The necklace has a paper clip type chain and hand made hook clasp. The entire center metal work and scarab measures 5 1/2\". The scarab is just shy of 1 1/2\" tall. The necklace wearable length is 15\" and you can make it shorter if you wish. As it is, it sits with the scarab right at the throat...very nice!

What makes this necklace so unique is the beautiful detailed Egyptian design and the lovely sodalite scarab. The necklace tests positive for sterling and in hand it is hard to mistake for any other metal.
