This sweet figurine is the August birthstone girl created by Josef. He is well known for beautiful figurines of many types, but this particular little doll is the August one from his monthly line of birthday girls. It is vintage and stamped on the bottom with his familiarr mark. On the left side of her dress are two identifying tags and the small booklet tells the story of the August child. This item is free from mars, scratches or chips. On the bottom you can see the larger kiln hole and the unglazed rim of the base denoting the vintage age. In her hand is a bouquet with a Peridot gem stone in the center. The light or flash shows a yellow hue, but she\'s dressed in a soft green trimmed with liquid gold. A nice piece for a collection and can be presented as a gift that would be very appreciated.
