The 2 vintage stuffed animals in this lot are similar in style and looks to the vintage Dakin Dream Pet toys BUT there is not a manufacturer\'s name on their sewn-in tags so I can\'t say for sure. Both have tiny sewn in cloth tags (tush tags) that read: MADE IN JAPAN. Both appear to be stuffed with sawdust. My best guess is these are from the mid to late 1960s to early 1970s.

THE DOG: Made of velvet or velveteen with stiff felt jacket and eye details. Fuzzy fur on the top of his head.His ears are wired but not his tail. 7 1/2\" tall.

THE MOUSE: Made of red and white leather or faux leather. Fancy braid style trim around neck with a ribbon bow in front. Eyes, eyelashesand French Beret are felt. Fuzzy fur peeking out from the front of thehat. 7\" tall. The original price sticker of $1.25 is still affixed to the underside. Backwhen I was a kid,it would have taken me 3 weeks to save up enough allowanceto buyhim!
