Featuring arare vintage DeSimone Picasso Stylepottery fish shaped serving platter or plaque.

Hand painted in Italy. Signed. Measures about 14\"long and about 10\" wide. Mid-century modern.

Shows a flake on the edge of the tail (see pic). No other chips, cracks or repairs.

There are some imperfections in glazing which isa characteristic of this pottery. Vibrant colorful glazes. Gloss finish.

Marked with handwritten signature under glaze on the underside, \" DESIMONE ITALY 21\".

Giovanni DeSimone was a mid-century artist, writer, close friend and student of Pablo Picasso. Picasso\'s influence is clearly seen.

A wonderful Italian art pottery piece will make a collector proud!
