Vtg Military Uniform Army US Army Captain rank bars WWI British made AEF:

I believe these rank bars came off of a US Army\'s Officer uniform from World War 1. Maybe British Made. Looks like they were attached similar to the way a button is attached to a jacket. I really don\'t know a whole lot about these, so if anybody has any information I\'d love to learn about them.

They are 1\" x 3/4\".
