This is a blue spattered granite ware lid measuring 7 1/2\" across. It has a small chip on the edge and a large chip on the back. (see pictures) On this I have hand painted an old hen and her chick searching for bugs among some grass. At the top I have added a wire loop for hanging and a raffia bow. It is initialed, dated and clear-coated to protect the paint. It would look great hanging in a country kitchen or bath.
