VINTAGE 1966 L&LWMC Hollywood Regency Gold Filigree Shade Crystal Prism Table or Dresser Lamp

We are thrilled to offer this fresh-to-market absolutely FABULOUS and ALL ORIGINAL Vintage 1966 L&LWMC Gold and Crystal Table lamp with original gold filigree metal shade and all original prisms in NEAR MINT condition! This is probably as close to perfect as you may ever find in this very RARE Hollywood Regency Era lamp. And it is still in wonderful working condition!! It has surely been pampered and lovingly cared for all these years.....

This gorgeous lamp from the 60s might have gold plated base (unsure) but the coloring appears to indicate such. It measures approx. 26\" Tall to the top of the ORIGINAL FINIAL. The shade is an oval form measuring approx. 10\" at it\'s widest x8\" deepand features a beautiful raised 3D metalmedallion in center. The center stem holds an elegant bobeche with 10 \'fingers\' from each of which dangles a set of 3 glorious (Swarovski?) crystal (or glass) prisms which really add dazzle and pizazz, particularly sparkle when lamp is illuminated. The center column is made up of two more huge chunky faceted (crystal or glass?) prisms of two forms. I suspect they are crystal for a lamp of this quality but we are not experts and have no way of testing. The gold tone (or gold gilt?) metal ornate base measures approx. 8\" across at it\'s widest. This is a lovely sturdy lamp and not many appear on the market - Get it while you can! The light glows so elegantly from behind the highly ornate filigree shade and casts interesting \"shadows\" and designs on walls and surrounding surfaces.

The shade is in the Matson / Globe / Stylebuilt manner and perhaps was indeed made by one of these maker\'s and partnered w L&LWMC - do not have enough background on this period to know for sure. Would certainly be a PERFECT BLEND with that sort of vintage dresser top/ dressing area / budoir / vanity collection and make a BIG STATEMENT IMPACT!

Because of the style of the openwork shade, you could easily add even more crystals, an entire row to the bottom of the shade itself and turn it into more of a \"chandelier lamp\" and it would certainly be OVER THE TOP,BIG-TIMEWOW FACTOR!

The underside of base is marked with \"1966 L&LWMC on top, and bottom bears a # of \"8751\".

(NOTES:We realize due to some sort of optical illusion w camera view the shade appears round in some photos, but it is INDEED an OVAL shape measuring approx. 10\" wide (across front) and 8\" deep (front to back). Also, this lamp has been lovingly used / displayedin a guest bedroom and was moved to this site merely for photo purposes so you can see in more detail how the ornate filigree piereced cut shade casts incredible details on the walls of the room. Although this is in what we would consider *wonderful* condition for it\'s age, it does have MINOR blemishes we noted for full disclosure. There is some minor discoloration to some areas of the metal - including some underneath the center faceted crystal. The lamp is in good working order as shown, but we would always recommend having any vintage electrical item inspected by professional for safety. (Bulb is for display only and we do not intend to ship.) Takes normal base bulbs as with other table lamps.

It is OH SO PRETTY and you will LOVE IT! (We wish we could offer twice as many pictures as it is much more beautiful in person and you will not be disappointed!)

We will pack it very carefully to ensure it\'s safe arrival to you. We will remove the little prisms from the bobeche on base and wrap separately for protection during shipment (so some minor re-assembly will be required upon delivery.)
