About me, the seller:For those of you who don\'t know me, here\'s a current update:My son Jake completed his 4 year College degree with a Bachelor of Science, major of percussion performance from Berklee College of Music in Boston in 2015.
A huge thank you to my customer base that made it possible to fund this endeavor one sale at a time over the past 4 years when the funds to send him there went dry.The gratification of being able to do such a momentous task without saddling my son with a huge student loan at the end is truly gratifying.
Now with tuition payments behind us, I can start lowering those home equity loans that were part of the mix. I started doing \"full time\" about 3 years ago when I realized that my saved college funds for my musically inclined son Jake was running out quickly.
His studies at Berklee have been successful in preparing him for a career in the music industry. He has since graduation toured with Zoya, Native Construct across the US and Canada.Plays on a regular basis with a band called Light Bright in the Boston - NYC area as well as the Dead Beggars. Also plays in a duo called Soundscape in the Boston area--base and percussion.
To fill in the gaps he\'s also obtained a teaching position giving youth percussion lessons. His web site is also up and running: JakeDick (dot com)
Take a look if you\'re curious!Of course entering the music world is not easy, and there are bills to pay...so he\'s also walking pups in the Boston area!Me? I\'ve been doing Flea Marketing and Antiquing ever since I was in my 20\'s, and my love for the search has helped me complete this seemingly impossible journey. My store is called Ziggy\'s Vault. Ziggy is my Quaker Parrot who was a rescue from a broken home and I found him at a flea market during spring of 2010.
He has quite a vocabulary now with \"Good Morning\" and \"Hello\" topping the repeat over and over list.
We\'ve now added \"Love you\" and \"No..No..no!\" to the conversation :-)Anyways...I mostly list jewelry...vintage unusual jewelry
How did I acquire it????I got my initial stash of stuff back in the 70\'s and 80\'s when my mom Helen & I used to go flea marketing, and antique hunting together.
Oh, every Thursday was garage sale day, and we\'d go off and spend lots of quality time together. Saturday\'s and Sundays we hit the flea markets and antiques shows.
Mom is now is gone, but I have all our treasures...and there are boxes and boxes of them. They are all in my crawl space, and I\'ve been taking out and discovering treasures I never even knew I had! Why? Well....

Mom used to always tease me that out mother-daughter hobby would become my \"inheritance\" and that it would make me wealthy.
You know...I\'ve been doing this now for over 3 years...and I still have boxes and boxes of untouched undiscovered treasures.
It\'s like going down memory lane when I dig & photograph!Yes, I\'m still digging out old boxes out, but, I\'m also picking up new pieces weekly from local resale/flea markets/antique shows in NE Ohio....so, when you see \"newer\" pieces....thats where they are coming from. So...there you have it! I\'m not so sure of the wealthy part selling it on , but it\'s a piece of the financial puzzle that made it possible for my son to attend the College of his dreams one sale at a time!
