LOT OF 14 vintage mercury glass bead necklaces which are hard to find. MADE IN JAPAN (some of the necklaces still have the paper label with black printed letters attached. They measure approximately 13.5 inches long (average). These very old handmade necklaces are made with round, tube, and figural glass beads. They have been strung with white cotton string that has discolored with time. Please see my photos. Some of the beads have loss color due to aging. Some of the mercury glass has turned dark. All necklaces are pre-owned and show use and wear due to aging. There may be some broken beads or rough edges on the ends of the tube beads in the necklaces as shown in my photos. These necklaces were thrown from the krewes of Mardi Gras parades in the late 1950s. Great, RARE collectibles from the past!MY PHOTOS HAVE BEEN TAKEN WITH A FLASH.
