This is a beautiful vintage Josef Originals barefoot angel boy on a blue cloud, with black hair and rose colored wings, holding his pink bag of magical sand. He\'s leaning over the cloud, getting ready to sprinkle some sand on the little children who are getting ready for sleep so they will have good dreams. This is called \"Japanese Sandman.\" There are no chips cracks or repairs..excellent condition. There is crazing. Nice shiny gold trim. Beautiful face. There is a spot on the back of his head just below his hair that didn\'t get painted at the factory. It\'s still glazed over, though. Just wanted to mention it. Please see photos. This figurine was made in California before 1962, when Muriel Joseph moved her company to Japan. The label looks just like new. This piece measures about 4 1/2 inches tall.
