Truly an amazing necklace, and by far the heaviest sterling necklace I\'ve ever had in my possession. This is a solid, 6 oz. (162 grams) statement necklace made in Mexico, though Silversmith is unknown. This very significant Mid-Century era piece, is made out of solid 925 sterling silver with a brushed finish. It measures 18\" in length, the links measure approx. 1\" square. It is marked, \"Sterling Mexico\". Very thick, chunky almost primitive design links, are joined together, giving it a striking bold appearance. It has a very unique fold-over clasp that closes with an audible snap.

Wonderful Mexican piece as these pics just don\'t do it justice. It is in excellent condition with minimal surface scratches, and as all my sales, keeping the starting offer very low.
