Vtg Northwood Glass White Opalescent 3 Footed Klondyke Candy Dish8\" Diameter
This is a lovely vintageKlondyke pattern (aka Fluted Scroll) card receiver made by Northwood Glass sometime in the period of 1897-98. The footed bowl is made from the Northwood color of Flint Opalescent. Names others used for this color would include French Opalescent or White Opalescent. Klondyke was one of the most popular lines Northwood produced before 1900.If you look in the middle of the compote, you will notice a flower. This piece reflects light beautifully and it would serve well under a light piece of fabric as pictured. This candy dish is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It measure approximately 8\" in diameter and 3\" tall. Item sold as is.
