An Alfareria JIMENEZ TEA SET 15 PIECES. Alfareria Jimenez hand made, hand painted Mexican Oaxaca pottery tea set, mustard yellow glaze with orange floral designs, creamer with lid and sugar bowl, tea pot with lid. Marked: Alfareria Jimenez Zaragoza 402 Oaxaca Mexico. Some flea bites on rims of cups or teapot but in very usable and colorful condition. Pottery is much more vivid in color than I was able to capture. Some plates are darker yellow than others.
Estate sale item from wonderful home of an elderly artist collector that lived for many years in Santa Fe. Lived in Europe for most of her adult life and was an incredible collector of interesting items.
Wonderful set. Great detail. Has some chippiness on corners but overall is in good decorative, usable condition. Hand painted, made in Oaxaca, Mexico. Please see photos for condition.
