Origin: Santo Domingo (Kewa) pueblo, New Mexico (attributed)Size: 18 1/2\" end to end8mm diameter spiny oyster shell beads6mm diameter sterling bench beadsWeight: 35 gramsCondition: Excellent vintage condition with no broken, chipped or missing beads. Spiny oyster shell does contain numerous natural pits and cavities.
Beads are strung on coated wire with a sheperd\'s hook clasp.I\'ve had this piece for many years. Patina on bench beads is as found, but I\'ll be happy to hand polish, if desired.
Great piece to slide a big bale pendant on. Hard to beat spiny oyster/ turquoise, charoite, sugalite, etc. combo : )
