For sale is a vintage super adjustable desk lamp or wall light sconce w/ screw in electrical plug adaptor-Made in USA. It is made of brass and was manufactured by \"The Greist Mfg. Co.\" of New Haven, CT with patent date of 5/19/1925. The lamp’s base has a spring swivel clamp which allows the lamp to be clipped onto at dressing table, side mirror, or head board and move with full action circle. Between socket and lamp’s pipe is a swivel ball link. That gives an up and down movement to the light. Shade has a spring loaded clamp that clamps right onto the bulb and could be easily adjusted to direct the light where needed. Base and shade have a deco design with embossed leaf pattern. The brass socket was made by Bryant Electric Company with Patent May 17, 1910 and it has a push through lamp switch. One side of light housing says 660 W-250 V. That the reason this lamp has added to the plug a vintage screw in electrical plug adaptor 660 W-250 V , made of Bakelite. Also, lamp comes with original beige cotton round cloth covered electric cord and the original Bakelite plug. The lamp works well, but it has its original parts and has not been rewired.
