Up for sale is a vintage pair of 10\" tall SKOOKUM Bully Good Native American / Indian dolls. It\'s a family with a man and squaw carrying her papoose baby on her back. They are both giving the sideways eye look. He has his original paper Skookum label on the bottom of his painted leather moccasins. As in the photos, there\'s a chip on the tip of his nose--it\'s been touched up with paint. The only flaw on the squaw is the seam on the back of her leather moccasin has come undone which actually gives a nice peek at the wooden construction inside the dolls. Otherwise just their hair needs a little maintenance. As you can see--this is a very handsome pair. I purchased these at an estate sale and am uncertain of their age but 1930s is my best guess.
