Offered for your consideration is this Vintage Paper Mache and Chenille Putz SnowmanChristmas Ornament. I purchased this along with a number of other Vintage ornaments from a local Estate.This Charming Little Snowmanhas a Hand-Painted Silver Ball Head witha Silver Pointed Hat, trimmed with a Pale Red Chenille ~ Pipe Cleaner Band.He has a Silver Fancy Bumpy Ball-ShapedBody, trimmed with a Pale Red Chenille Pipe Cleaner Scarf. Hisbody and head aremade fromfoil covered paper or cardboard --his body and headare not mercury glass balls. His body has a unique bumpy texture to it.He also has smallBrown Chenille Pipe Cleaner Arms. He isholdinglittle Broom in one of his arms and is mountedon aHeavy Paper Disc that is marked JAPAN on the bottom. One of his little hand-painted blueeyes has faded away, as well as abutton or two. He is mounted on a Round Mica Covered Disc ~ please note thatthis dischas aminor flaw as well (please see photos).Approximate measurements are:4” tall including his hat x 1 ¾” wide at his widest point.He is in nice vintage condition with normal age related wear from use and storage.
