OFFERED FOR SALE: RARE - NOTHING LIKE IT ON OR ETSY. a Beautiful Vintage Hand Crafted Silver Crest (Previously Heintz) Sterling over Bronze Budvase. Made in the Arts & Crafts period of the early 1900s. When Otto Heintz, of the Heintz Art Metal Company, died in 1918, his artists, and craftsmen, headed by sales manager Fred Smith, formed the Smith Art Metal Company, with the Silver Crest logo which, in his honor, contained an H for Heintz, to carry on the Arts and Crafts products they were famous for. He initially used many of the same forms and overlays but didn’t replicate the patinas.This bud vase is marked X 102. It measures 2.5\" in diameter and stands 8.0\" tall. It is in very fine condition with lovely verdigris bronze patina with sterling graceful flowers and buds. It was my grandmothers and I have cherished it ever since. The silver polishes up very nicely. It would be a great addition to your collection or simply as an accent piece.
