This 222 Singer Fatherweight is in excellent working condition. It has a few minor marks and a small chip out of the removable piece.It works welland is in very good condition. It has a new electrical cord. We purchased this machine in1999 from Graham Forsdyke. We actually met him in London; he sold it to us directly; and I carried it home on the plane so it was not put into baggage or shipped after we purchased it. Grahamis a well known as the authority on and seller ofSinger Featherweights. Grahamconvertedthis machine, which was made in the United Kingdom,over to 110 V before selling it to us. I have rarely used it since we brought it home. But it is still in great working condition. We are now downsizing so it is time to share this wonderful machine with someone who will love it. The serial number for this machine is EJ911059.According to theSinger website,thismachine was made in 1954. Thanks to the member who lookedup the manufacturing date and provided the information to us.

Also the light spot in the first couple of photos to the right of the plate is space created when my husband pulled out the freearm an inch or so from the body of the machine.

And the "chip" my husband referred to in the listing is actually a light scratch on the back side of the freearm.
