Offering a vintage working Singer 221K Featherweight sewing machine in white finish with red, white and blue carrying case. Serial No. EV986145, 1964 manufacture in Great Britian.
I\'ve included the maximum allowed images, please check them closely. You\'ll be buying the machine AS IS with no returns. This is a machine that\'s been stored for many years. I find no rust, corrosion but flea bites in the white finish, illustrated in images. It has a moderate, \"storage\" odor.
The machine runs, lights up but to stitch I had to put some pressure on the belt to snug it up on the wheel. The bobbin moves, feed and foot all move properly. After being stored for so long, it\'ll need a new belt, deep cleaning, adjustment and perhaps a bit of tweaking. The plug may be replacement but the cord and foot pedal are in good working condition.
The case is in very good vintage condition, showing some age on corners in the red, whic and blue vinyl covering. I see some teeny nicks the covering in other areas, as well. It\'s very solid and sturdy for storage and handling.
