Vintage snow globe for sale.

This snow globe features a blue cruise or transport type ship with red deck and white accents (red, white and blue!!) standing tall on a wave, with gold label stating \"souvenir of Chicago, Ill\".

Glass: thick older molded glass with vertical seam.

Base: black bakelite.

Height: about 4 inches.

Age: probably dates back to the 1950\'s.

Condition: very good restored condition.

Imperfections: this globe arrived with the ship in pieces. I fixed that (using waterproof marine glue) and kept the original ribbon, which you are welcome to remove.

Note: I restore these snow globes as a hobby and as part of our history. I think that they are beautiful, and wish to preserve them. I generally only restore the truly miserable ones, and try to preserve the snow and all of the original parts as much as possible. Last picture is a \"before\" picture.

Along those same lines, I try to pack and ship as green as possible as well, and save and use recycled material/popcorn/bubble wrap where possible.
