For sale is a World War 2 US American Fork & Hoe Co Hatchet. The head is dated 1942, the handle is marked SW Hoe and Mfg Co and dated 1944. The head shows normal wear for use, some small nicking on the sharp side - needs to be sharpened. The hammering side also shows some wear. The head is tight on the handle. It is a tight fit in a medium flatrate, but since that is the most economical way to ship it that is how it will ship.
