Vintage c. 1970\'s carved turquoise fetish & heishi necklace.

Crafted by Zuni artist Lavina Tsikewa Kaskalla who collaborated with her husband Leonard.
Lavina is the daughter of well the appreciated David and Mary Tsikewa.
This is a one strand necklace comprised of 33 carvings.
There are 3 fetishes (shown in the last photo) that have chipped ends.
I also notice that there are 2 areas where there is more spacing.
2 of the fetishes could have cracked and fallen off however there is no slack in the string
and the beads remain tight all the way to the clasp.
Length of fetishes range from 1\" to 1-1/4\" and measures 31\" long.
The sterling tag is signed in cursive script \"L & L Kaskalla\"Be sure to check my other listings. I will be listing a couple of other Native American pieces
