Fantastic brown door kick protectors for just about any car from the 20s to the mid 50s, although going by the art on the instruction sheet I reckon they are from the mid to late 30s or early 40s. They are similar to the faux crocodile skin ones and the green ones I am also selling but have been used for a short time on my Kaiser and do not have any packaging with them. Like the others they aremade from \'Rexine\' or leathercloth, the early, very old and very thinkind of plastic that I think was made by spraying plasticised material onto actual cloth and then embossing it. You can tell this apart from modern plastics in an instant, because modern plastics are always knit-backed and are much thicker, so when they are folded round a curve they bell out and have a fatter look at the edges, and they have a thicker cross-section when looked at from the edge. These are the real deal, and have an amazing period look (and smell!). The front part is in great shape (when they were on the car I took great care not to kick them!), but when I removed them from the car and peeled the double-sided tape that I had used to attach them with off the back, it took a small amount of the surface off the cardboard there. This is of course not visible when they are on the car, as it faces in towards the door panel, and I guess you\'ll be sticking your own attachment medium there, but I have mentioned it because it does mean that they aren\'t quite perfect and aren\'t quite NOS. Paradoxically, as I said, the outer facings are in better shape than the green ones (which *are* NOS!), because unlike the green ones they have not stuck together during storage. I don\'t know why this is - maybe the stuff they coat the brown cloth edging with is less sticky! These area really practical addition to your interior because they protect your door trims. My 37 Terraplane has an all-original interior, and as the door trims are in superb condition I wanted to protect them from being kicked by people getting in and out of the car - so I fitted a set of the crocodiley ones. I have put some pictures of the one on my driver\'s door in, so that you can see what those look like on a car. These will look very similar - except, of course, that they are plain brown! There is no packaging or instruction sheet with this item, but as I havesuggested with the crocodiley ones (and as I did with these on my Kaiser), the best way to attach these is with double-sided sticky pads or tape like they attach mirrors in bathrooms, and car trim strips, with nowadays. That way you won\'t damage the scuff pad (beyond the very small amount of removal of cardboard from the rear surface, as has happened with these ones) and you also won\'t damageyour door trim if you need to remove it.Please view my very detailed images closely to see whether the item is to your taste. Terraplane not included, of course... Thanks for looking at my sale - any questions, please ask. Cheers - Alan
