Wonderful little metal tin Easter basket, with handle, for a tin toy collection and for Easter holiday use or display!
Made by J. Chein & Co., in the U.S.A.
Probably from the 1940\'s to 1950\'s!
Actually still has the original F. W. Woolworth Co. price sticker!
Original price was 25 cents!
Basket measures:
7 3/4\" Diameter
3 3/8\" Tall Bowl
8\" Tall with Handle
Interior bluish mint color.
The adorable lithos depict nursery rhyme characters. They include Little Bo Peep, Peter Pumpkin Eater, and The Cat and The Fiddle. Handle lays flat, but is tight, therefore it will never fall flat when being carried. It stays tight in place, whether flat or standing, asone would want!
Very nice condition for age! No dents in basket, but very slight, barely noticeablebend at very tip of handle (see 7th photo close-up). Please see all photos for best description on the condition of this basket!
