This set of W. Britain 11th Hussars (Prince Albert\'s Own) soldiers, is very rare, and if the moustache rule-of-thumb is correct, dates back to pre-1938.

The box was designed by Fred Whisstock, one of the best-known W. Britain designers. It\'s yellow-green (not white as it appears in one photo) with one torn corner and two tiny holes punched in its top (for display?). Nonetheless, it\'s in great shape, especially considering its age. The box is marked number 182 on the side label. Inside (and in wonderful condition) are four horsemen, (one with a sword) and four absolutely beautiful horses with decorative reins. They wear traditional uniforms, and all their hats are topped with plumes. Minimal paint loss. Highly detailed, all metal, hand painted, 1/32 or 54mm in scale. Pictures are of the actual items.

I wasn\'t able to find much pricing information for this rare set. As you consider your offers, please bear in mind that a set in this condition is quite hard to find, and that you\'re not being charged a buyer\'s premium as you would be if the item were sold by an sale house.

Once purchased, your figures will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail (with tracking) in the continental US, carefully packed to avoid shifting or marring.
