The book is reasonably firmly bound in the original brown cloth, lettered and illustrated in black, the boards are rubbed and stained, with some splitting at the spine ends. The text block is slightly foxed, dusty and age toned, with a repair to the plate at page 165 and cracking at points.
An uncommon early Louis Wain title.
