Up for sale is a Beautiful Antique Art Print by the famous American Illustrator, W. S. Vanderbilt Allen (1860-1931) titled \"BRIGADIER-GENERAL, AIDE-DE-CAMP AND ORDERLIES, 1776\" (c) 1890 by G.B. This is one of a series of prints that wereincluded in \"Edition De Luxe - The Army And Navy Of The United States - 1776-1891\". Published by George Barrie, Boston, Philadelphia, New York. (c) 1890 by G.B. - Circa: 1889-1895.
The official Army & Navy Seal and the spread eagle logo are embossed at the bottom of each print. Includes a tissue printed cover sheet page protector with red title text.
The image measures approximately 12\" x 9\" and is printed on heavy period tan stock paper measuring approximately 19\" x 13\". The print has a debossed frame around it.
It is a full color print in Very Good Condition. The print has some light discoloration and chipping along the edges (see photo above) - but these will not show when framed.
The image itself is very bright with clean colors and with no visible stains or tears. The print is not in perfect condition, but it is still quite nice and very rare.
This would be a wonderful print to add to the collection of any military or history buffs. This print will look great framed!
