THIS LOT IS FOR A BEAUTIFUL AMERICAN AESTHETIC MOVEMENT LARGE STERLING SILVER FIGURAL TRI FOOTED BOWL MADE BY WHITING MFG CO AROUND 1880. THIS UNUSUAL BOWL IS IN THE FORM OF A JAPANESE INCENSE BURNER THAT RESTS ON THREE HEAVY CAST CHRYSANTHEMUM FEET. IT IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO DAMAGE AND A GREAT PATINA . IT HAS A NICE WEIGHT OF 37.25 TROY OUNCES AND MEASURES 4 1/2\" TALL X 10\" WIDE. IT HAS NEVER BEEN MONOGRAMMED. THIS IS A VERY UNUSUAL PIECE AND ONE I HAVE NOT SEEN ANOTHER EXAMPLE.
