Here we have a vintage handmade wooden African tribal pregnant? woman figurine, up for your consideration! Ships Worldwide! Let me give you a little history on this piece and how I\'ve acquired it. An uncle of mine used to do a great deal of traveling with his job and one of his stops was Africa. No matter what part of the world he traveled to, he managed to always bring something of interest back. This was sitting in his den on the mantle for many years and at first, it used to scare the heck out of me, but then as I got older, I found it fascinating and appreciated the art of this beautiful hand crafted figurine,with all the colored beads on the headdress and on the front covering with gold colored triangles that borderaround the beads at the top of theheaddress and also triangles that are carved into the backside of it too! When he retired and broke up house, I was given this African tribal womanfigurine and have had it since. Now is the time to let someone else enjoy its beauty, as it is a very unique piece and a great addition to any collector of the African arts! This piece measures 6\"w x 3 1/2\"d x 15 3/4\"h, the woman has a protruding stomach as if pregnant, but not sure. The elaborate headdress and design must signify something, but what?
