WOODEN TREEN FIGURAL UMBRELLA PENCIL & DIP PEN ANTIQUE VICTORIAN NOVELTY:

This is for an interesting old Victorian combination penciland dip pen fashioned as an umbrella. It dates to the late 1800s and has a tapered holder covered in black silk with metal spokes around the edge to replicate the umbrella, the handle is wooden and pulls out as the dip pen. The bottom of the umbrella also pulls out and this is the pencil which when reversed is the pencil. The pencil has a simple grip nozzle for the lead. It is all in excellent condition with no damage at all and when fitted together itmeasures 220mm (9\") long, the dip pen is 160mm (6\") long including the nib.
