Scarce and very well made metal model of a World War I British RAF biplane mounted to an AM radio, made in Japan by Waco in the 1960\'s. This AM radio still works fine on one 9-volt battery (not included). The metal biplane swivels on top, and is marked with the red, blue and white RAF bullseye and the number \"26\". The propeller spins, the wheels turn, and the airplane model is cast with excellent detail and markings. The black plastic box that contains the radio has a dial on one side for volume and another on the opposite side for tuning. The underside has the speaker and battery compartment, and is embossed \"WACO - PRODUCT OF JAPAN - 611\". This metal biplane has an 8\" wingspan and 6.5\" long fuselage. The radio box on which it is mounted measures 7\" wide by 4.5\" deep. It\'s a terrific deskpiece for your office or collection. Win it with your offer.
