This stunning and incredibly \"angelic\" looking Russian Angel statuette is intricately hand carved and hand painted by the artist in pinks, whites, and golds. Notice the gold trimming and the sweet, yet solemn expression on her face as she holds this brightly lit candle. Her lovely costume consists of a white gown with pink trim, white flowers, and white and silver leaves. The gold/yellow underskirt is painted with a raspberry and pink floral pattern along with green and gold leaves. There is a beautiful and ornate edging along the collar, cuffs, and the bottom edge of the gown. THIS ANGEL IS A STUNNING WORK OF ART!! This statuette is very lightly lacquered so it is easily cleaned and protected. The solid linden wood is dried for almost 2 years before it is carved. (Note: These are not mass produced molded resin from China. All Russian Santas and statues are one of a kind, unique, and hand carved from Linden Wood so no two are ever identical.) This beautiful angel is made in Sergei Posad, Russia, and measures approximately 13.25 inches tall with a wingspan of approximately 9 inches wide.
