Very Rare vintage HAMILTON U.S. Govt. Militarypocket watch, with the scarce 12 Hour whiteMontgomerydial, (much less common then the black 24 hour dial version).Movement marked \"4992B, 22 Jewels, Adj. Temp. And 6 Positions\", serial number 4C67141,(Hamilton factory records for 4C series watches in the 4C63xxx range show the finish dates are around 1942 according to info I found on the web, see below). This movement is stem set and has the Hack Seconds feature, along with the sweep seconds hand. The movement looks immaculate, it winds and sets smoothly, and it keeps good time. Case shows plating wear on the back, and crown is the \'onion\' style. Bezel and back screw on and off properly, the bow shows no wear and is firm, the plastic crystal is nice.
