WW1 FRENCH TRENCH ART CIGARETTE LIGHTER MINIATURE ARTILLERY SHELL CASE 1916:

Large French Trench Art cigarette lighter.
Lighter is in the form of a artillery shell which separates to expose the wheel and wick.
The base of the shell bears the standard tax plate from the French government stamped C and I (contributions indirectes) which date it to 1916.
Shell case in fairly good condition.There are a couple of very small dings and a small area of discolouration to the brass shell case commensurate with age.
The wheel turns easily but is in need of a new flint.
The lighter is empty of petrol in line with current postal legislation.
