Economist from Dingolfing.Buried in a trench cave in in Northern France, and as he was being dug out, a mortar hit and killed him, 29 March 1915. He was 29. Nice uniform photo wearing spike helmet.Double page single sided card measures about 4.5 x 5.75 inches. Back of card has Jesus with a soldier.Card is in good condition.
Includes a German Graves Office slip listing him as buried in St. Etienne a Arnes, France. he is also in the Bavarian Lost List and was with 1 Company 2 Landwehr Infantry Regiment when he was killed.
