WW1 German Imperial Era Gottlieb Hammesfahr Solingen Foche Trench Knife w/Crown :

Rare Trench Knife in original used, un-cleaned condition.

One side of the Ricasso is marked Gottlieb Hammesfahr Solingen Foche.

The other side has the RARE (imperial era) inverted D with a Crown on top.

The knife is just under 11\" total in length and the blade is just under 6\" long (tip of blade has less than 1/8\" broken off... bone??) That is the only damage.

The blade has not been sharpened and is in PERFECT condition with makers mark clear.

The hardwood handle is in perfect condition with no cracks or splitting and is rock solid.

The scabbard is well worn with the original black paint still visible.The leather belt loop is intact but broken at snap.
