For sale is a WW1 dated Model 1905 bayonet made at the Springfield Armory. The bayonet is dated 1906 with the SA and flaming bomb ordinance stamp. It is serial number 58929. The handle is very nice, the 15 7/8\" bright blade displays darkening and use. There ispart of the retaining pin missing from the handguard. The scabbard is original but missing the canvas cover. The back of the scabbard shows splitting of the rawhidecover. Overall a neat piece....not minty but not a million dollars either. Pictures should say it all.
