We have a Factory Copy of an English Translation by John Baumof an original WW2 German Manual for the MG 42 andMg34 that is dated Feb 3 1942 and covers the Indirect Aiming with the Heavy Machinegun. This manual is 7 by 8 1/2\" , has 92 pages and 86 illustrations. We all knew the MGZ and
MGZ 40 telescopic sights could do a lot more than just aim at the target. This manual explains the need for the telescopic sight to pivot fully
around and how that is used for indirect fire. It\'s not specifically written as an MGZ manual, but their are many pictures of the scopes anda lot of questions are answered about the extra capabilities the lafette mounted scopes have.
This manual also gives some detail about how to set up the searching fire mechanism, how the aiming circle is used and set up, how to use the
measuring triangle (the complicated aluminum double disk device with extended legs) for plotting, aiming stakes, and the deckungswinkelmesser
