Ravensbrück was a women’s concentration camp located in northern Germany26,000 were Jewish.All inmates were required to work ranging from strenuous outdoor jobs to building V-2 Rocket Parts.Ravensbrück also served as a training camp for over 4,000 female SS guards.Between 1942 and 1944 almost all of the Jewish women from Ravensbrück were sent to Auschwitz . Only a handful of Jewish women that had special jobs in the electrical and Rocket assembly plants remained until most were killed just before liberation.
