Here is a rare item, a US Army M1 Armorer\'s Tool Chest, used for working on tanks and other armored vehicles during World War II. It is made of all steel, with original OD green paint and military stenciled markings on each end. Top folds open to reveal a removable tray for smaller tools and hardware, with large compartment below. No tools included. Original padded leather handle is attached on one loop and bears original OD green finish to leather. Condition is generally good, some rust to underside but this does not affect the tool box and is relatively minor. Buckles and hinges work well. Dimensions: 11 x 14 x 20\". Weighs approx. 10 lbs.
