WWI US Army AEFM-1917 Cavalry Canvas w/Leather PadLeggins Set-Matched Set- Very RARE!!
Up for saleis a WWI US Army AEFM1917 Cavalry Canvas w/Leather Leggins Set. This style leggin was used only during WWI, it replaced the full leather leggins that the Cavalry previously used. This is basically a canvas leggin set with Leather re-enforcement on the inside of the leg. The leather would wear better for mounted usage than the canvas did. These are somewhat Rare and are not often encountered. This set is used,see the photo\'sfor condition. The leather is soft and supple, with no rips or tears. The canvas is in nice condition with some wrinkling at the ankles. The exterior of the canvas is soiled from prior usage.There aresize 2C.
This would make an interesting addition to your WWI Collection. These are missing from most WWI Collections.
Thiswould make a welcomed additionto any WWIICollection.
