WWI WWII GERMAN M16/17? COMBAT HEAVY STEEL HELMET STAMPED ET64 LEATHER LINER $NR:

Uncertain to where and when this helmet was made or what war(s) it may have been used in. Any help you can offer I will add that information to the listing. It is very heavy, stamped ET64 & 4450 and I don\'t see any other marking under the leather liner but the liner is marked 56. The last picture is this and another helmet from the same estate that is up for offer in a separate sale.
