Virtually flawlessconditiongold and diamond World War II Fighter Pilot, United States Army Air Forces Ring. This was an Aerial Warfare branch of the United States Army from June 20, 1941 through September 18, 1947
The top of the ring is marked United States Army Air Force which surrounds a virtually flawless (FL-VVSI) Transection Round Brilliant Cut Diamond. One side is marked AAF-AFS (Army Air Force Advanced Flight School), Turner Field with a radio microphone and winged propeller surrounded by the words, \"Prepare For Combat\". The other side has a Boeing B-17F Flying Fortress (Variants include theXB-38 FlyingFortress, the YB-40 Flying Fortress and the C-108 Flying Fortress), a bomber aircraft on it and has the word \"Pilot\" which has been scratched. Note, when I took to my jeweler for repair, he advised against repairing for authenticity purposes.
