Here\'s an original mahogany box for the Hamilton model 22 Chronometer.
This one does have the plexi glass lens that has yellowed slightly.
The original fitted and padded felt liner is in great shape. There are two
small marks to the left of the latch from someone trying to open the lid.
The lid mating surfaces do seal together from sitting a long time. The latch is
in great shape and working. The piano hinge is tight. There are some fine scratches
on the back of the box and the \"Important\" plate shows some age with tape residue
on one area.
